I liked this story very much. The positives are a wonderful hero and a heroine that became stronger. There is great heat and steam between the couple and not too many secondary characters that you get confused.
The story moves along a good pace. The only negative that I can say is that there were too many misunderstandings near the end. The hero thought the heroine was pining for love from another and the heroine thought the same of the hero. Irony-- they were pining for each other the entire time. They had plenty of courage in other situations except when it came to communicating with each other.
I still give it high marks for the love and care they gave each other.

I loved this book, it is a historical romance
