So someone asked to buy some credits from me. I gave them my paypal address because they had originally said they wanted several credits. Well she decided she only wanted 1 but then used the wrong price and send 2 seperate payments to paypal by debit card and said to send her 2 credits. Well the amounts are so little that the 2nd transaction will cost me almost half the cost just to claim the $. The 1st amount was enough to cover 1 credit plus the paypal fee. If I deny the 2nd charge will it still charge her the transaction fee? I buddied her 1 credit. When I've sold credits before the people bought a lot and then used their checking account so I wasn't charge a fee just to claim it only when I pulled the $ out. I'm not sure what to do. I PM'd her. |

When you offer credits for sale, make sure to state you do not want CC payment, only funded pmts. The first time I bt credits, I did not realize that the person receiving the money had to pay a fee if I used CC (hadn't use Paypal much). Also - if you want to sell in bigger lots, state that too. Always assume people don't know anything when you do a deal ;) |

Well I sold to larger lots to other people who used their checking account. This person has been pming for a week over this and finally transferred $ this morning. But I though she was going to get more than 1 credit. Next time I'll specify that they use a checking acct only. Although I probably won't sell any more credits for a while. But I had so many and an empty postage account. I buddied her 1 credit and accepted the 1st charge. I'll wait until she responds before I accept or deny the 2nd. Live and learn right? |

I think if I were selling credits, I'd do it in lots of five. Way too much hassle for one measley credit! Cheryl |

I think if you refund the payment, the transaction fee is refunded as well. Whenever I've bought credits is always been in lots of 5 or 10. |
