I absolutely love Cynthia Eden! She writes with a great mix of the story & steamy steamy. This neato little romp is no exception.
Everyone knows the Christmas Carol in some form. This retelling exchanges Scrooge for a smokin' hot angsty vampire with a death wish and has him visited by a demon to show his past, an angel to show the present, and a shifter to show the possible future. The angel is his lost love who arranged the whole thing to try to help put him on a path to redemption.
This is a bit of a short novella so makes for a quick read. Yes, it probably could have been fleshed out a bit more by adding more info about the angel, Simone but this is really more Ben's story.
