Not a bad book, this is a story of a Marine Staff Sargent Travis 'Mac' MacConnelly that was turned into a werewolf on his tour in the Sandbox of Afghanistan and him and his best friend John Lam were the only survivors but were bitten, Mac can change at will but poor Johnny is stuck in the in between stage part man part wolf. Their semi peaceful rest? they are for study but not for missions, anyways they never encountered to have to deal with vamps right outside of the fence of their base but they meet up with 3 vamps, 2 ugly male vamps and a female. Bri Vittori is in the run from vamps and they been chasing her for a while, she needs to finds the werewolves to save her but she never counted on Mac to be her Knight in silver fur and the sparks that fly between the two. But like every good book there is a plot and lets just say you think the military has their soldiers best interests in heart, you be be sadly mistaken, when Mac and Johnny are betrayed by their own Commanding Officer.
