The continuing adventures of the trio from Spider's "Very Bad Deaths," but you won't have to have read that one to dig this one. Very deep characters, serious sense of danger and thrills, telepaths and spies and even some kayaking involved. The political turn at the end of the book was rather unexpected, and for the fact it didn't go where I thought it would, pleasantly surprising. And now, Mr. Robinson has coined my favorite political term for the next decade: Vandals.
If you like mystery, surprises, and not knowing where the hell this story will go, you'll enjoy "Very Hard Choices."
