1st in series. This is one of my favorite books, and series, of cozy mysteries. I always hope to find that more books have been written.
I love cozies, but find that after reading so many they kind of all blur together. This series stands out in my memory.

This book wasn't even one star.
The story line/plot was flat and the characters were borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! I think it was written for an 8th grade (at best) reading level. An old Nancy Drew book would be a better choice. Thumbs down on this one.

A pleasant dip into WWII years on the homefront, but overall a very light mystery. I would have appreciated more depth.
