I know, this isn't PBS related, well, at least not directly but I was wondering, can video games like those for NINTENDO64 go medial mail with books?  I was thinking of offering a free video game with book requests but I don't want to get into trouble with wrong mailing   lol

Are N64 games cartridges?  I have successfully sent CD/DVD based games via media mail.  I can't say definitively, but there is a place called eStarland that will take used games for trade in and I have sent them Gameboy games via media mail without incident.

Yep, you can send game cartridges via media mail.  Even CDs and DVDs.  You can't send blank CDs or DVDs via MM though, they must contain some media to qualify.
