This was such a slow moving book. Reminded me of a Nancy Drew mystery-without a real mystery being solved. I liked it but I think Miss Carlson is cashing in on her name on this one so I will not move on with this series.

Four women bond when they begin talking and find their lives have something in common; each one's lives have been saved by a Miracle from God. They also become friends and see a mysterious light coming from a non functioning lighthouse.Though they investigate they can not find the source. Very interesting book about the Maine coast, lighthouses and the natives of Maine.

This is the first book in this Guidepost series. It is the introduction to the 4 women who will make up the story. In this book they meet each other, find a common bond that ties them together, and then the mysteries begin. This will be an interesting series, with lots of miracles being tossed around. Enjoyed the book.

New to the series, found the first book very moving as it introduces us to the characters that make out the series, starting book 2 shortly and hope to be done with it shortly to post on here soon!
