Eric, a warrior prince from Ireland, travels to England in his Viking ship to help the King fight a war against the Danes and is attacked coming to shore when the heroine sees the dragon prows and thinks theyre under attack. The message that the great warrior, Eric and his men were coming never made it in time...or so it seemed. This book is 2nd in a trilogy about Olaf the White and his sons and while the first book was fantastic, it took me a while to get through this one. The story was good, the sexual tension was high and the love scenes were hot but the characters lacked something. I couldnt find a reason to care about them. The heroine bordered on irritating most of the time and Erics distrust of her made most of the scenes seem repetitive.
Love conquers all and the happily ever after is rewarding but getting their was a battle for the characters and for the reader.
