A story of a woman who has a baby from an affair , she gets married and the marriage is an unhappy one. This book is very well written and even though the story has been told many times the way this is written is more in line with The Bell Jar or The Awakening. It is the writing and storytelling that is so good in the book. The couple move into a house and the woman becomes infatuated with the neighbor. Very good book
