This book had many practical ideas of changes you could make at home. Geared primarily to families, I felt. The first section went straight to cosmetics and feminine hygiene products which may not hold the attention of many of the men that I know. The author provides many great websites for further information and most chapters have a section about products and brands that she recommends. What I gleaned from reading this book: Plastics are bad, Most of the products you use are hazardous, Organic is best. The information is presented in an approachable way.
