Sister Joan of the Daughters of Compassion has to determine who killed the rectory housekeeper, along with a rash of other bodies.
Sister Joan finds herself as housekeeper of the presbytery and involved in solving 4 murders and destructive vandalism. It is interesting to see the small steps toward the solution and to feel almost justified at disliking the cuprit throughout the book.
I like this series -- the heroine is definitely out of the ordinary.
