i was floored by the imagery in this novel. I have not been interested in history but was captivated by the story of the true voyageurs and their amazing journey. You won't be disappointed!
Very good historical fiction. HB and MB actually visited the northern Maine area in 2013. A book worth keeping in library to be reread.
