Interesting set of essays on the tricks played by plants to get pollinated: very sexy stuff, eh! Did you know that in Australia there's an orchid that flowers underground? I thought this was a fascinating revelation of why plants are the way they are and how they have formed in response to survival requirements. Includes lots of interesting side facts on the interaction of plants and people - some orchids have been loved to death. Latin botanical names are included, but scientific jargon is noticeably absent. Very readable.
