I found this book to be a really enjoyable read. A great mix of mystery, adventure (of a sort) and an emotional healing. A nurse, Sara Black, has lost her toddler son in an auto accident. She is lost to grief and uses her nursing job as a solitary time to work through her feelings. She is nursing a young man with a traumatic brain injury and finds solace and an intimate relationship of sorts, in trying to bring him back to reality and find his family and his life. It also involves a mystery the man relates as he regains his speech. Sara is caught in a situation where family and friends think she is not dealing with her loss, at the same time she is way too involved with a patient and her husband is trying to hold on to their marriage. Lots of twists and turns and emotion. I liked it enough to recommend...a four out of five.
