The second book in the trilogy.... again, interesting but not great... a decent read for fantasy lovers... a clever use of well-known characters from history and legend.

A nice continuation of the trilogy, though it sagged a bit.

Great book. I really liked that King Arthur became a part of the story.

At first I was skeptical of this series because of it's simple and seemingly unoriginal story line. But once you step into the world he creates you don't want to leave. If you are a lover of fantasy and mythology this book has all the right elements to ensure your enjoyment. My only complaint is that the third book has been somewhat difficult to find and I want to know what happens next!

Beautifully written. I was completely absorbed. There is a dignity to the writing that you rarely see in modern fantasy.

reminds me of Tolkein and various books about fairyland and British legend and myth. I look forward to reading the last book.

Oh, come on. Can't we leave King Arthur out of this? So many favorite fantasy novels written in this time period seemed to need literary crutches to support insecure authors. Still entertaining, but the Arthurian element irritated me.

This book was given to me from a teacher, the binding is good but the pages are yellowed.
