I have enjoyed the other Honor Harrington books on CD I have listened to but this one (I am about 2/3 of the way through it.) is mostly "talking heads." While I presume that the lessons in stellar history and politics will be useful for future books (if I decide to inflict anymore of this series on myself), this one is really boring. I listen while driving 35-40 min each way to and from work and have been hard pressed to stay awake on the way home some times.
Try the earlier ones. They have lots of action.
