Beautifully written, tho I always find the superstitions and magical realism a little confusing. Having lived in CA most of my life I was really interested to learn about the history of the Chinese immigrants to the Isleton river delta area. The characters are well developed and the story was interesting.
Wonderful story. Couldn't put it down. The characters were so well written.
