Emma Blair is a prolific British author who writes about families with in depth character studies of one or two of the main book heros or heroins. Her books including this book will not win awards for adventure but is an excellent resource for historical information about life during the 1920's. This wasn't one of my favorite books written by the author but she has so many that I will surely fine others that more suit my fancy.
