A very satisfying conclusion to this series. Charlie is able to solve "Durham's dilemma." I appreciated the thing(s) which spelled out the rift before Charlie and his father. In short, Charlie fell in love and his father forbade him to marry. She quickly married someone else. He also felt his father was more critical of him than his brothers. So, he shunned and had no further contact with his daddy dearest. Both made assumptions and acted out.
Tessa was an awesome heroine and perfect for him in every way. I also liked how he fell in love with her just as she was. She had a past and was able to move on from it. I enjoyed them together.

Liked it, but not as much as Gerard's story, Blame It On Bath, which was the best of the trilogy. I was not that impressed by Charles in the first 2 books, so it took a while for him to grow on me, plus the book has a very slow start. But I was so invested in the mystery about their father, the Duke, that I wanted to see how it turned out, so I forged ahead. Luckily the pace picks up in the second half. The hero turns out to be a lovable guy who is not afraid of an intelligent woman, and their first night together is a great love scene, including some humor. The conclusion is really sweet and enjoyable.

Huge disappointment!!!

Started off decent enough. Wasn't found of it...but it wasn't horrible. Get to the middle of it and it goes down hill sharply! ...But I had to finish it through.

And boy was it a waste of my time!!!

I really don't like this book at all.

I couldn't come to care for the characters, I hated the way it was written, the story just sucked!

Ugh, hate when books do this to me!!
