Had to wait a long long time to get this book but really enjoyed it, but maybe because I lost my mother and more family members to cancer. This was a wonderful book about friendship and the journey of letting go when facing terminal illness. Loved it...... |

Jody..I read this book awhile back, and to this day think it's been one of my favorites...I too lost my mother to breast cancer, and I think a lot of this book hit home...I highly recommend this book to all women really. |

If you liked this book because someone in your family has experienced cancer, you might also like One True Thing by Anna Quindlen. I read it shortly after my dad passed away from cancer, and cried healing tears of grief. It has since been made into a movie with Meryl Streep, but reading the book was so cathartic! |

I recently read Do They Wear High Heels in Heaven and I loved it!!! I am currently battling breast cancer, so some parts of it were a little hard for me to read, but it's one of the better books i've read lately! |
