The Eclectic Pen - I Wear This Mask

By: Erin B. (redwingslover)

I wear this mask to hide my pain,
my broken heart, and to keep me sane.
Inside feelings are rushing around.
Outside my mouth is closed.
I don't make a sound.
I wear this mask to hide my sorrow.
Hoping for something better.
Maybe tomorrow.

Erin this poem touched my heart. I've felt this way often in the past 22 months. Thank you this poem did bring me a smile!
