Three good stories in one book.

This is a collection of three historical Christmas stories:
Christmas Eve by Millie Criswell tells the story of spinster Eve Barlow who does not celebrate Christmas. Drifter Gabe Tyler rents a room at her boarding house and teaches her the joy of the holidays.
Season of Bounty by Mary McBride - Gambler Will Cade must work off a debt to the owner of the local mercantile, Matty Favor. He finds himself falling in love with her, but knows he must stay clear because she is married.
Cowboy Scrooge by Liz Ireland - Mail-Order Bride Ivy Ryan arrives in Texas to find that her fiance is dead and she is now responsible for his three children. Deciding to take the children to their uncle and wash her hands of the situation, she discovers that Justin Murphy doesn't want the children...unless she stays to care for them.
My favorite story in the book was by Liz Ireland. This is the first time I've read this author and I liked the humor in her story. Overall, my rating for this book is 3 Stars.

My favorite story by far was McBride's Season of Bounty. I mean, how often do the leads meet when the hero is pilfering merchandise from the heroine's store? The story was cute & held my interest.
Wasn't able to finish Criswell's. It just fell flat. Pity, bc I've enjoyed some of her other stories.
Ireland's was okay. After some of the reviews I'd seen, I was expecting to be blown away. Didn't happen. Leads grumped at each other for a long time, then boom, were in L-O-V-E. Nope. I like the relationships to build.
