cute young adult book.
Abby's parents encourage her to apply to the SASS program after they discover she's dating an older boy. She resists at first, but eventually embraces the plan. I think I liked this book so much because it shows a girl that interacts with boys, but in the end, she realizes that she comes first. I think it's important for teen girls to read books with female protagonists that aren't solely focused on getting the boy. A good start to the series. I look forward to reading more of these!
Abby has always had an overprotected life, and she has always considered herself to be a vanilla ice cream. She soon moves to England for the summer to gt rid of her overprotective parents and her cheating boyfriend, and wants to become a strawbery ice cream with sprinkles and syrup on top. She soon meets a new boyfriend and new friends. WHAT WILD AND CRAZY THINGS WILL SHE DO NOW THAT SHES NOT A VANILLA???
