An outstanding, thought-provoking book by the type of man I wish we could send to congress more often. Made me reconsider the value of what boys learn from ogranized sports. I wish I could be as hopeful about our country's future as J.C. Watts is.

from back of book: "Inspiring, provocative, and with an inside look at the inner workings of Washington, J.C. Watts may ruffle a few feathers, but that's exactly what he thinks is good for America."

A great perspective on what motivates us as individuals. A great American story inspite of your politics.

Published in 2003, I believe the start of the end of this particular Republican stronghold in Washington. But of course, politics is one big ocean of to's and fro's, someone's in power then there's a shift, back and forth. Quick and interesting read.
