Well, my husband is not much of a reader... he will read the Bible, and leave it at that... However, Michael Farris is an author, and a father who is well respected within the homeschooling community... However, this book goes beyond that, and according to my husband, helped him to navigate the scary plain of being a father to a daughter. He found the book to be a sweet look into the relationship Dr. Farris has with his daughters, and liked what he found, and has started implementing much of what he's read with much success. He recommends this book especially for fathers who have not been trained up by their own parents in the aspect of parenting a daughter in today's world.
