We'll be transferring to our new command in a couple of months and I REALLY don't want to have to pack up all of the books that I have listed on PBS.  Will I lose my membership if I pull all of my books?  Should I just leave a couple of them up and ship them with us?

why don't you do a 3-for-1 or more deal in the book bazaar. then you can save up your credits for later.

Yes, do a deal and get rid of as many books as you can. When you have to move, pull all your books and donate them if you don't want to move them. Start a new shelf when you reach your destination.

You've made many trades, and many people who have accumulated a lot of credits stop posting books and just "buy" for a while. There's nothing wrong with that.

So do whatever is best for you. And don't forget to put your account on hold during your move! :)

Thanks for the tips y'all!  I'm trying to be better prepared for this move than I was for the last one since we'll be doing it in the dead of winter in Maine!

I have a military move coming up in June.  I don't want to take the 300 books I have either. Of course most of them are unread and unposted right now.  My plan is to read and post as many as I can before Jan and then start running deals.  Then I'll donate whatever I have left to the thrift store and put my Shelf on Vacation until we get settled. I'll probably keep a handful of books just to have a shelf when I get back.   DH will be gone most of Oct, Nov & Dec so I'll have plenty of time to read.

Good luck to both of you with your upcoming moves! And don't forget to change your addresses when you take your shelves off hold! :)
