From Back Cover: The authors offer personable, common-sense advice on helping youngsters identify and deal with the basic emotions that might be prompting their worries about themselves and their relationships with others.

I would say this book is ideal for kids approximately age 9-14. It's a little too juvenile for a high schooler, but ideal for middle school kids, or some late elementary aged kids.
