True this book is not a how-to book, it is mostly about the history of the purple martin but if you read the book, it DOES have a section towards the back about attracting and the feed and care of the Martin which is very simple and straight forward. Very helpful. I found it a good resource for someone wanting to know more about the Martin.
This book is not a how-to book on attracting purple martins. The author mainly profiles a town that attracts hordes of purple martins. A very, very boring book! Not what I thought it was.
