I am cleaning out my homeschool shelves and wondering what y'all may be looking for.  So, I thought this would be a great opportunity for everyone to see what we are looking for specifically due to homeschool.

Thanks!!

I've posted this elsewhere and PM'd some members, so you might already be aware of this list!

My teen just joined Battle of the Books Club and Competition and we have a list of the books they will be reading this upcoming school year. I've read some of them and the ones I read are all excellent.

If you have any of these and you want to swap with me, especially before the school year gets going too far, please PM me with the titles and perhaps I can request from you.  (I've contact others, so I'm not sure who will be able to help first :-)

I sell Usborne so I have extras I'm trying to get rid of....they are barely used as display/flip through only. If you're looking for a certain category I'd be happy to go through my stock to see what I have.

I sell Usborne so I have a lot of extra stock that I'm trying to move. These are barely used books as I use them mostly for display. If you let me know what category you specifically want I can go through my pile to see what I have.

I have a bunch of classics on my wishlist, so if you have time, see it please. I am also looking for A Beka kindergarten readers and Singapore Primary Mathmatics levels 3A, 3B, 4A, and 4B...texts only without answers written in them. The books on my wishlist can be in ANY readable condition, even loose spine, torn cover, writing, whatever. As long as it still has all its pages, it is worth its weight in gold to me.

If you don't find what you need on PBS, a good source for buying used curriculum is:  http://homeschoolclassifieds.com/.

Michelle, the Burgess books and the McGuffey's speller are available via the Gutenberg Project.  You might find some other older titles there as well.  Of course, these are digital format- so not as attractive as a book but they will work in a pinch. ;-)

I'm looking for a good book for handwriting... I am 19, but ashamed to say  (esp. since I'm a homeschooler) that my handwriting is HORRIBLE! I despise it.... so I though I should find some books to give me some practise. If anyone has anything, let me know! Thanks! :)
