I am wanting to request a copy of 'Fix It and Forget It Lightly' cookbook. When I do a search, I get paperback, hardcover and plastic comb. What is plastic comb? I can not seem to find anything in the Help section. Thanks! |

If you are meaning as a binding, I think it's the plastic strip binding also know and GBC. Not exactly like spiral binding, but similar. Pages are punched and then the plastic comb fits through the punches creating a binding. Does that help? |

I have that book. It's spiral bound instead of hardback or paperback. I never use it, maybe I should post it on here. |

MrsLefty--You should post it! I would be interested in a spiral bound version ;) |

I just got mine out and it's not the light one sorry. There are 53 people with my version on WL though. So maybe I'll post it anyway. I have a move and need to purge and I only use cookbooks for baking. |

FYI GBC is a company name. It stands for General Binding Corperation. I know this cause the company my mom works for used to be GBC now its ACCO brand products. They did make the comb bindings at one time along with other office products but now they make mostly large white boards and things like that. |

Awww, Leann - I teach you everything you need to know! Never again will you want for information on the difference between comb binding and...other types of binding. I like to try to advance the common knowledge. |
