Have quite a bit of suspense on my list right now to read. Did read Kristan Higgins's Anything for You. I did have a few issues with the book, review on GRs, but overall a 3.5 star solid read. |

I recently finished JR Ward's Blood Kiss and loved it. Can't wait to see more of these new recruits! I also just finished Dom of Ages by KC Wells. It was another great installment. Freaking love this series. Now, I'm finally reading Darkest Before Dawn by Maya Banks. I've never been much of a fan of Hancock so hopefully I'll be able to get into it. |

I liked Darkest Before Dawn better than the last couple of KGI books so it's a definite improvement on those. Not my favorite of the series though. I've bought way too many ebooks so I'm slogging thru some of the shorter ones. Or trying to, anyway. |

I did read Blood Kiss and enjoyed it, as it had elements of the older books in it and no one died..so that was an improvement. I also read Darkest Before Dawn and I am thinking I am done with that series as a whole, as I wasn't impressed. I just think the author has got too many things going. I started off the year with 2 really good books. First I listened to a library audio book of Christina Lauren's Sweet Filthy Boy and then read Colleen Hoover's November 9. Now reading Lawless by T.M. Frazier. |

Read Loretta Chases's Dukes Perfer Blondes, a really great read. Then i read Rose Lerner's Listen to the Moon and I didn't love it like I usually do hers, but it was still a compelling read. The characters were a Butler and an maid of all work, so it was a unique situation. |

Just finished up: Getting It Good! (Harlequin Blaze) By: Rhonda Nelson Quick little read, nothing special. About to start: Priceless By: Christina Dodd |

I just finished the Cactus Creek Cowboys trilogy (To Have and to Hold, To Love and to Cherish, and Forever and Always) by Leigh Greenwood. He's a new author for me, and while I loved the historical setting (he really shines here), the romance is lukewarm at best. I need to change things up after all the westerns; I'm starting The Match of the Century by Cathy Maxwell tonight. |

Just finished Laura Kaye's Love in the Light and man what an AWESOME wrap up to Hearts in the Darkness. Wonderful, sweet epi for Caden and Makenna. This is well priced for this gem of a book. |

I finished Darkest Before Dawn. Although certain parts were somewhat predictable and other parts were somewhat (or a lot) cheesy...lol...I still enjoyed it and am still pretty invested in the series. I read a m/m shifter book, Whiskers of a Chance by Tempeste O'Riley. It was a nice treat because I read a lot of m/m but rarely any paranormal m/m. Now im reading another m/m, Driven Snow by Tara Lain, and REALLY liking it so far. |

I ended up loving Driven Snow! Then I read another mm shifter book, Trouble Comes in Threes. This one was pretty fun. Not sure what's up next, yet. |

I have to say that I was about to give up on YA/NA books. I got tired of the sameness of the stories and the unending flood of profanity and vulgarity that seems to be the standard form of expression in a lot of them. So I was reading my way through my YA/NA TBR to clear it out and ended up reading a bunch of wonderful books in a row. Huh! I guess I need to give up on genres more often, LOL. I read I'll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson and The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord, Then I read several by Sarina Bowen. The Year We Fell Down, The Year We Hid Away, Blonde Date (novella) and The Understatement of the Year. After I read the first Bowen I just kept buying more. I still have two more to go. I hope the quality stays this good. I definitely recommend the ones I've read.. Now I am going to read a non YA/NA called Good Time Bad Boy by Sonya Clark. I have heard good things about it. |

I spent the last few hours reading Twilight Life and Death. Hmmmm......the gender swap thing just really threw me for a loop. Originally I thought it was just Edward and Bella but she done went and gender swapped every character! Nothing I would read again but I kinda liked the twist ending. |

This month (and prob next;), I'm working (too slowly) though Mt.TBR; I'm reading the "Others" series (C. Warren) and in between reading some other stuff (Christian-Vampires in America, Deeper Than Need, Tails You Lose). |

I finished Meredith Duran's Lady Be Good and Lori Handiland's Smoke On the Water and they were both really good. |

Tonight I finished See Me by Nicholas Sparks. It was pretty good. Very suspensy compared to a lot of his others. Is suspensy a word? Lol |

Since the third part just came out, I finally read all three parts of Never Never by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher. I enjoyed them but I'm glad I waited til all were out and read them all at once. I would have probably lost interest by now if I would have read the first one a year ago. |

I just finished Six of Hearts, which I found amazing. I'm now reading Alan Lennox and the Temp Job of Doom which is quirky and enjoyable. ETA: I'm also browsing Learning from Isaac. A favourite author but this one isn't really holding my interest. I think it was Bentham's first book. This is the updated, revised version but...yawn.
