I finally finished Sinfully Sweet, a Valentine's Day themed Blaze with short stories by Janelle Denison, Jacquie D'Alessandro, and Kate Hoffmann.  Very good book but I do wish the stories had been longer.

Today, I read another Blaze, Seduced by the Enemy by Jamie Denton.  Another excellent book.  Hero has been on the run for 3 years, framed for a double murder.  Heroine was his live-in lover at the time and the person that turned him in.  Of course, he's getting close to finding the person that set him up but must kidnap the heroine to keep her safe too.  Both characters were smart and the story was good.

I am on book three of the Raintree trilogy (Inferno, Haunted, Sanctuary)--I read the first two this weekend--and I have to say they are great!

Hi!  (*waving*)  Sounds like everyone's had time to read this weekend!  I finished Lisa Wingate's Drenched in Light--it was wonderful!  I've enjoyed everything I've read by her so far.  I'm almost afraid everytime I've started one of her books that it will be too sad/real/depressing because of the situation or the characters' backgrounds, but every time I'm amazed at how she pulls things together and how transformed their lives can be by another person's care and faith.  They aren't strictly romances--they'd probably be classified as women's lit?

And started Bad Boys Over Easy, which I ordered from PBS from one of the authors!  It's cute so far (I don't have very high expectations of these anthologies--as long as the characters are likeable and the emotions are somewhat real, I'm happy.)

Still working on Lover Unbound, but I wanted something a little shorter and I'm in a Christmassy  mood, so I started a new Blaze, Talking In Your Sleep...  The H is house-sitting for his friend, who's off on a honeymoon, and the h is the next-door neighbor who's having some very loud and erotic sleep-talking sessions.  He's intrigued ... ;)

I'm re-reading Spell of the Highlander  by Karen Marie Moning.  This weekend I got in the 2nd in Alyssa Day's Atlantis series so today after I'm done with SOTH I'm going to re-read the 1st book and then dive into the sequel.  Its been so long I can't remember what happened!

Well, I have finished up Cheyenne Moon by Carol Finch, Kiss Me While I Sleep by Linda Howard, Dark Emerald by Lisa Jackson and a Diana Palmer.

I LOVED Kiss Me While I Sleep!!!!! The others were good and I am looking forwad to reading the others in the series.  Cheyenne Moon was very cool.  He is half Cheyenne and can call upon his the spirit of the panather to help him.  He kinda turns into a panather.  Very Cool!!  There are 3 other books about the other 3 spirit winds.  I am looking forward to them.  I have posted all the above books on my shelf if youwant to read about them.

Also finished up a Blaze called  The Favor by Cara Summers.  Very good and HOT book.

In the midst of The Secret History of the Pink Carnation by Lauren Willig.  I'm enjoying it!  If you have ever heard of the Scarlet Pimpernel then you'll probably dig this since it plays on that same history.  I'm at my sister's house and she has a few books I may try to "borrow" when I leave tomorrow like Dark Fever by Karen Moning.

Judy, let me know how Talking In Your Sleep is.  It sounds like a good concept for a book but I'm curious if the story's any good.

I started another Blaze, Dangerous by Tori Carrington.  So far so good, heroine becomes head of a mob family, hero is undercover to take down the family.  I'm barely into it but it's looking promising.

Talking in Your Sleep is on it's way to me by way of PBS.  I had that and 2 other new Blaze books in my hand and thought what am I doing, I have all those credits.  So I put them on WL and got that one posted right away.  Love those Blaze books.

I'm almost done with Alyssa Day's Atlantis Awakening and its good.  In some ways better than the 1st book and in other ways not as good but I think that comes with every series.  I love the alpha male hero though and I especially like that they don't take the entire freakin' book to admit they have a thing for each other!

Read 2 more from Linda Lael Miller's McKettricks series. Sierra's Homecoming and McKettrick's Luck. Both were good.

Lori, I really liked Kiss Me While I Sleep too! It was actually the first book I ever read by Linda Howard. It caught my attention on the new release shelf at the library.

Finished the Raintree trilogy--loved them, going on my keeper shelf!--and now I'm reading Coming Undone by Susan Andersen.

Sherri--I'm glad to hear that the Atlantis series is a good one since I have both of them in my TBR pile!

Ok I am totally hooked on the Parallel Series by Deidre Knight. It took me a few days to read Parallel Attraction but only because I was busy. I read Parallel Heat in a day.  Now I'm just starting Parallel Seduction.  These have to be read in order to understand them.  There's a lot of time travel and alternate universe stuff going on in them.

Talking in Your Sleep was not as good as I hoped it would be. It's possible Mary that you are getting it from me! lol I bought it, read it and reposted it in the same day. I'll be mailing it out tomorrow when I get home. Definitely a good concept but it just didn't work for me - I guess I was expecting more fun with the concept but it took a more serious turn. Susan

Morning!  Finished you the Blaze The Favor, it was good.  Now I am reading Dark Ruby, it is the second on the Dark Jewels Series by Lisa Jackson.  I like them!  They are historicals .  Not sure what else I am going to read.  I may be in the mood for navy Seals again.  I still have the rest of the Troubleshooter Series to read and also the Melissa M. Series.

It was marked mailed a few days ago.  So I don't thinks it's me.

Well I broke down and ordered Parallel Desires by Deidre Knight. I put down Parallel Seduction until it comes. They seemed to be tied together. Well the whole series is but these 2 especially. So I started Bad Boys in Kilts last night.  I didn't get very far before bed. I'll probably read that today. Although Nauti Nights keeps calling to me.  So many books. It's hard to make the decision what to read.

I'm reading a (so far) good Blaze called Coming Undone by Stephanie Tyler.  Its about the heroine who, while trying to help her best friend write a seductive letter to her boyfriend, accidentally faxes it to a military base and its picked up by a SEAL.  He decides to investigate the letter writer.  The heroine is a former pro-surfer who a year or so ago was very badly injured in a "wipeout" and is now retired but for a charity event has promised to ride the waves one last time - only problem is, she's deathly afraid of the water now.  That's as far as I've got but it sounds promising.

I just started 'curveball' by kate angell...sorta tired so trying to get into it..hot tempered sports player aren't my cup of tea but it's supposed to be cute so I'm gonna give it a try! still reading that harlequin intrigue too.

Sherri, I read coming undone and the sequel..can't think of the title but the one about Cash They were were pretty good..not my fave out of the blazes but still better ones ..like the guy's butt on the cover LOL!

ETA: ok, about 1/3 through'curveball' and realized I probably should've started with squeezeplay but that's ok..I figured the characters would end up together from that story! I guess I got used to reading about older characters that these young ones are too wild LOL! I reckon since I'm near any seals or rangers that I might start hanging around the baseball park...they do have nice butts at least some do...about the only redeeming quality in the sport as far as I'm concerned LOL! at least their uniforms fit snug!anyways I'm liking the story now!

Coming Undone is great!  The sequel is Risking It All.  I have it on my bookshelf if you're interested after reading CU.
