I'll post mine later, we're on our way out the door (we're picking up some foster puppies).

I jsut finished 'the australians' 'beguiled and bedazzled' by victoria gordon. a short/small harlequin I got in a deal here. I've decided these light easy reads are perfect for w hen I'm tired because not a big complicated plot or a bunch of characters to keep straight! this one was ok..typical old fashioned harlequin but from the mid 90's and set in Australia which I wouldn't have been able to tell if it hadn't said so and from some of the expressions. this guy was an artist who carved wood sculptures and the woman was a fashion designer who had to start over but not much is said about her work and he's a jerk at times but oh well.like I said, a typcial harlequin! :-) still a nice read and it kept my interest enough.

Started 'don't look down' but there are a lot of characters so got tired though I think I'll like the book once Ic an concentrate on it. maybe tonight I can be more alert for reading...

I'm still plowing thru "Fortune Hunter's Hero" by Linda Turner.  It's a Silhouette Romantic Suspense (formerly called Intimate Moments).  It's good but I'm glad I didn't spend the money to buy it new and instead spent a credit on it.

Okay, I'm now on the 4th book in the Wedding Planner Series, Death Takes a Honeymoon by Deborah Donnelly. I had to jump right into it after finishing the 3rd... May the Best Man Die . She left me hanging! I'm all good now, but I'm still on the wishlist for the 6th book so after I finish the 4th and 5th, I'm gonna be screwed.

I've got plenty of other stuff to read, though...I'm sure I'll find something to keep me occupied!

I just finished Tempting by Susan Mallery. It's the 4th in her Buchanan series. It's Dani's story. She meets her biological father, a senator that is running for president, and falls for his adopted son. It was an OK story, Dani's brothers and their significant others were in the story but the author pretty much forgets they have any children. I also didn't really care for the senator or his wife. I didn't hate the book but it was my least favorite in the series.

gosh, I 've finaly got the 4 books in that series Jennifer! I waited til I had them all and the first was the hardest to find I think..same with the sisters ones (sparkling one, sassy one, etc)

hopefully I can read at work..I started a harlequin flipside this morning to help me fall asleep..it's pretty good! 'one true love' by stephanie doyle.think it's the 2nd in that series. didn't get very far 'cause it's hard to resist a doggy snuggling up and giving that 'you left me alone all ngiht for 3 in a row and wil again tonight pet me and love on me' look.sigh...snuggled up with her then the other one joined us and I fell asleep...

I just finished The Frasers: Clay  by Ana Leigh.  Its a western romance about a woman who tricks a man into marrying her so she can join a wagon train going west to California.  I got Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning in the mail and I'm going to start that later on tonight!  I love her books.  I've read all of her Highland series so far and I've been anxious to start this one.

Susanna I hope I didn't turn you off to the series. I read the reviews here at PBS and others thought Tempting was great. I think I have high expectations sometimes, especially for books that are part of a series.

and A BARGAIN CALLED MARRIAGE by Kate Welsh

I am currently reading ALWAYS A BRIDESMAID by Kristin Hardy

Jennifer, I just read Tempting this past week, also, and I agree it wasn't my favorite of the series.  Still, it WAS good.

Not romance, but I also read Book of the Dead by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child.  It was the third in the Diogenes Pendergast trilogy.  It was good and brought back all the previous characters and concluded that part of the Pendergast stories.  It is a WL book and I was disappointed to find stains on several of the pages and will now have to offer it with a deal.  I don't like it when WL books are not really postable and you don't find out until you read them:(  I've gotten several unpostable books lately--how can people slip these in and feel no guilt?  'Nuff fussing...

Next, I'm going to read He Loves Lucy by Susan Donovan that I read about on this thread and ordered.  Off to get started.

I just finished Back on Blossom Street-Debbie Macomber. It was great. I love all her books.

I have read Irish Hearts, Irish Rebel, and Sullivans Woman this week, and will be starting Navy Brides tonight....although probably won't do too much reading this weekend due to hubby coming home from 3 weeks of training!!!!!

I finished "Fortune Hunter's Hero" today.  It was a nice read.  First in a series, I'll probably be adding the others to my wish list.

I stared in on Carly Phillips' "Cross My Heart" and I'm about halfway thru that already.  Can't seem to put it down.  I already put the sequel (which doesn't come out until October) on my wishlist.  There's a good 40 people ahead of me though.

I'm reading Lord of the Nile by Constance O'Banyon.  It's an ok read, but I'm not sure if I'm going to be keeping it or not.

boy, I just read a really good one for a harlequin intrigue! ok, not much 'romance' per se but a lot of 'mysteries' to solve for such a short book plus themain suspense and cliffhanger that's typcical of these...a lot going on that's practically unbelievable. I think it's part of a series so I'm guessing these characters will be mentioned in later ones..like maybe a wedding or something...but the guy on the cover sure floats  MY boat! probably a gay model knowing my luck..sigh...oh, it's 'the new deputy in town' by b.j. daniels, a harlequin intrigue from this month, part of the whitehorse montana series. think I'll hunt for the first one, secret of deadman's coulee....

I'm reading The Dream Hunter by Sherrilyn Kenyon.  It's an ok book...nothing too exciting.  It's giving some good history of the Dark Hunter's...etc, but I'm not finding myself rushing back to it.  I'm almost done with it.

Next up is Bad Girl Bridesmaids.

I have about 3 books going at the same time lol.

I've been trying to read some of the books that have been sitting on my shelf for a while so I started Crimson City by Liz Maverick, it's starting out ok.

The second one I started was Beau Crusoe by Carly Kelly and I'm really enjoying it, I'm only 54 pages into it so far.

The third one is Satin Fires by Rebecca Flanders, I may have to put it back on my shelf. I have 4 foster puppies right now (along with my 3 dogs and 1 cat) and the writing is very small and it's not a fluffy read. My attention span is zero right now so it's probably better to start another time lol.

Just finished The Secret Passion of Simon Blackwell, it was ok but not a keeper for me.

My book FINALLY came, yeah! So I'll start reading Suddenly You by Kleypas today. Hopefully, I'll get all of hers read and I can start reading other things soon. I seem to have this problem where I find something I like and I have to read (eat, see, whatever) everything by that one person.

Shoot, I didn't even hit enter!  She Did A Bad, Bad Thing really touched me.  Most likely because I could really empathize with the heroine.  Well not the hitting the lottery part, unfortunately!   LOL

I just finished Jessica Bird's "A Man in a Million".  I'm reading her books because I've read all of her BDB books under her name of JR Ward and I need a fix before her next book comes out in September!  I liked it a lot, it was a good story, I gave it an A.  Plus the hero may not have been a big bad lesser slayer, but he was a tattoo'd leather wearing Harley rider and he was hot.  :)  This is my first one by her but now I've WL her backlist.
