Excellent book, kept me guessing throughout the book. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Adam and M.K. I also liked the other characters in the book as well.

College students keep dying...and only one special agent has a hunch there's a serial killer at work. Great thriller/mystery!
a killer with out mercy, a game without rules. a night with out end.
A great romantic suspense story.
THIS BOOK WAS UNPUTDOWNABLE, AS ALL HIS OTHERS ARE.

Morgan Hunter's latest effort is a page turning effort that incorporates two very strong leads with a diabolically evil killer. The end result...a strong suspense read.
M.K. Shaughnessy has just been paired up with a new partner. He's irreverent, and male. Two things M.K. has issues with. Or at least she does until she starts working with Adam. Their first case is put in their laps due to political wrangling. What seems to be one isolated case soon turns into more. M.K. thinks things seem just a tad to familiar when it comes to their new serial killing case. The victims are college students and the murders are grisly. Problem though is her partner, Adam is going to be stubborn on this and the longer he refuses to see what M.K. sees the more dangerous the killer will become. But the stakes are raised when Liza Jane, Adam's daughter starts poking into the investigation of the first case it brings the focus on her and now Liza Jane is facing danger and the chemistry between M.K. and Adam is heating up. Will M.K and Adam be able to catch this killer before the ultimate victim becomes the trophy of this unbalanced killer?
This was an amazing read. Plenty of twist and turns, one truly evil killer and two strong leads that do not over power the storyline makes this a story with reading. Hunter Morgan is a fine author and one that makes this genre her own.

A killer without mercy ... a game without rules ... a nightmare without end... the ending will leave you breathless

FBI Special Agents M.K. Shaughnessy and Adam Thomas are no strangers to death and destruction. They might be relatively new to the office, and even a little reluctant to partner up, but they know that when a Senator's son is killed in a car accident, they're going to need to work hard to determine that it was an accident. After a talk with the Medical Examiner and the Chief of Police in the county where the accident took place, both Special Agents are convinced that the tragic loss of life of the Senator's son and three of his college friends was simply an unfortunate accident.
Some people, however, are convinced that the tragic accident could have been avoided. One of those people is Liza Jane, Special Agent Thomas's daughter, who happens to attend the same college as the dead students-and also writes for the school newspaper. Now reprimanded by their boss for allowing his daughter to stir up Senator Palmer all over again, M.K. gets the distinct feeling that Liza Jane might be on to something. Other deaths, other so-called accidents, have occurred recently, all with the same mystifying circumstances as the college student's deaths.
Now there seems to be a serial killer targeting young men and women, and M.K. and Adam are drawn into the tangled web of a killer. With no real clues where to begin their hunt for a deranged killer intent on destroying the city's youth, they end up closer and closer to danger. With Liza Jane and M.K. dragging an uncertain Adam into the investigation, the two ladies don't realize that they're being led deeper and deeper into the twisted minds of a killer unlike any they've ever faced before.
WHAT SHE CAN'T SEE is a haunting yet engaging thriller that pits two FBI Special Agents and a young woman against the twisted mind of a killer who is having trouble separating reality from fiction. Hunter Morgan has once again written a police procedural novel with underlying hints of a romantic suspense plot, and come up with a winner.
I have to say that the ending was complete surprise. You'll never guess who the killer is, and in a book of this type, that's always a sure bet that you need to keep on reading.

I had never heard of this author before. My mom picked this book up at a flea market recently. She read it first and then she kept bugging me to read it because she liked it so much. I finally read it and I'm very glad I did. I liked this book so much, that I've already ordered all of her other books.

This is more mystery than romantic suspense and thats usually not my genre. But I loved this book. It kept me guessing until the final page. Its definitely not I oh I knew that type of story.
Loved it!!
