Last week I was offered 8 WL books, this week I already have 5 being processed. I cant keep bleeding this many credits out and only read one book a week so my TBR mountain is becoming a mountain range.  I  have been putting my account on hold for 5 days at a time every other week for months now, but guess I will have to take off the titles I have on auto-accept.

Is it possible you have a large number of friends and they are selecting you to receive their wishlist books?

I have not been inundated with wishlist books lately, but I do notice that many of those I do get come from friends who selected me to receive their book.

I'd love to have 8 WL wishes granted in a week. Enjoy your lucky streak!

I thought of that too-- I always check to see who is sending me books and rarely is it a friend.

You know, Jeanne, instead of putting your account on hold, when you're offered a book, why not tick the "Not Now" button? When I'm bleeding credits or trying to control my TBR pile, I ask myself do I really want that book now or can I skip it and leave that one book on hold until I'm ready? You save your place in line that way, better allocate your precious credits, and control the size of your reading list. This works nicely for me.

I tried that a few times, Regina, but twice got it offered back to me a week later so that's why I went with putting my account on hold.
