... and do you want it again?

The best deal I received was a 3 for 1 hardcover matching set of classics that I wasn't really looking for, but someone offered me.

When I first joined PBS, my daughter was reading R.L. Stine's fear street series and we found the mother load.  The nicest lady let me have 28 fear street books for 5 credits.

I've gotten so many deals from many, many PBS members... my favorite ones are when a member "tosses" in an extra book; when I've asked for an entire series of books for one or two credits; and ten drippy/steamy/make you blush romances for one credit.

And then, there are the very generous boxer trades I've been fortunate to be the recipent of.... 20-2, 6-1, 15-3... etc.

Generosity... I love it here at PBS!!!!

I just received 6 Joan Johnston novels for 0 credits.  I had gotten a Joan Johnston WL book from this member a few weeks ago.  She was trying to  decrease the size of her bookshelf and offered me the rest of the books in the set for nothing.  I really thought that was a wonderful thing that she did.

The second best offer was 7 books for 2 credits.

A guy offered a book that was on my wish list that he considered unpostable.. When I got it , it was in almost new condition. I could never figure out what he thought was wrong with it.

I got a 5 for 1 deal on Goosebumps books for my son once, and he was very happy with that.  Also, this is not necessarily crazy, but I thought it was incredibly nice of the member- I saw that a member had several books that my daughter wanted, so I PMd her and asked politely if she'd be willing to give me a 2 for 1 deal.  She PMd back, and not only did she offer me a BETTER deal that the one I offered- she offered 3 for 1- but she also ordered a book off of my shelf as well!  Such nice people on this site!

Many great deals, most recently Ruffin3 sent 21 wonderful children's books for 5 credits, when I told him I was ordering them for a school in need.    Before that, Lena (squirrelnutkin) sent a ridiculous amount of children's books for something like 2 credits when  I told her I was collecting for a girl's literacy group.   Both were incredibly kind people and their generosity was much appreciated by both groups.
