Another great Jim Henson Muppet book! Wonderful, colorful illustrations of the Muppets as kids. Kermit and Ms. Piggy go to the fair. Piggy realizes she has lots her money and can't do anything. Kermit glady shares his, giving her ride tickets, paying for food, giving her game tickets. Everything she wanted to do Kermit gladly did and paid her way. He even gave her money for a raffle ticket and the winner would ride at the head of the big parade.
At the end of the day Ms. Piggy wins the drawing. Very excited she turns it in and saw how sad Kermit was. She remembered all he had given her that day. She told the mayor Kermit was to take her place but the mayor let them both ride.
I liked this story because it was a wonderful way to remind children about thinking of others, putting them first and being grateful for what they do. Questions at the end help discuss this in a way children will understand.
