I was wondering what everyone here's fave chick lit book of all time is? Could be any you've read in the past, currently are reading or something you've heard of that you hope to read.

I don't have one favorite chicklit book, but my favorite series is the Shopaholic series. It is the one set of books I have to purchase the day it is released. In general, I tend to prefer British chicklit over anything else. Some of the american chicklit I can take it or leave it, but the Briish chicklit tends to be more witty and much more enjoyable for me.

The order of the Shopaholic series is:

Confessions of a Shopaholic

Shopaholic in Manhattan

Shopaholic Ties the Knot

Shopaholic and Sister

Shopaholic and Baby

My 2 favorites are both by Sophie Kinsella: Can You Keep a Secret and The Undomestic Goddess. I love everything Sophie writes, and I will always buy every Shopaholic book the day it's released, but these two are my favorite.

Where does everyone get all the cute little blinking pictures and stuff. I'm new to the PBS and the forum? Thank you!

I went to google an typed in "blinkies." I found a few websites and just right-clicked and saved to my computer. Then I went to "my account" on PBS and uploaded them under my signature (I think that's where you put them.) I had to play with it.

I really enjoyed "Everyone Worth Knowing" I can't remember the author...but it was similar to the one's listed above.

I am a Shopoholic junkie too, and I also like the Red Ink books that I have read.  The Devil Wears Prada is probably my favorite chick lit.  My husband even likes the movie!

BTW, I saw a book called Shopoholic Abroad the other day.  Any ideas what this is?  An ARC of Takes Manhattan, maybe?

I loved Angry Housewives Eating BonBons!!!  It is so great!!!  It has so many funny things and so many serious things.  It was fantastic.  I also enjoyed reading The Saving Graces by Patrica Gaffney.  I am currently reading Savannah Breeze by Mary Kay Andrews.  It is really good.

I loved Emily Giffin's Something Borrowed and Something Blue.  They were so good, in fact, that I e-mailed her and told her myself!  I also passed them around to many friends and everyone loved them.

My favorite chick lit author is Marion Keyes.  She's great, but the last one she wrote was by far her best.  I think it was called Anybody Out There

Does anybody know the name of a book- it's yellow and the title is something to do with the sun ( or sunshine), it's about a woman who is injured ( I'm not sure how) and she goes to work for a doctor who helps her heal. I know it's a long shot but I would really like to know the name of it. It's definatly chick lit.

My favorite chick lit is the Sisterhood of the Traveling Paints series

 thanks

I like British chick-lit. My fave is Raffaella Barker, Hens Dancing, Summertime . . .  I just read Weekend in Paris. Real cute, and I would recommend it. A little too young for me. Jane Green, of course.

If you liked Angry Housewives Eating Bonbons, try The Future Homemakers of America. I think the author is Laurie Graham.

Michelle J:  You might be thinking of My Sunshine by Catherine Anderson.  The heroine has brain damage from an accident and goes to work for a vet...bright yellow cover...could be the one!

My favorite chick-lit authors (can't pick a single book!) are Jennifer Weiner, Jennifer Crusie, Marian Keyes, Sue Margolis.  Fun, fun, fun!

I also enjoy British Chick lit more than American and the Shopoholic series is what started my addiction but the UNDEAD series by Mary Janice Davidson is my favorite by far!!!
