While a good tale, this is not my favorite "Billy Boyle" story, as it was not as realistic as the others. There were too many things in it which required total acceptance on the part of the reader.

Sadly, some of the comments about Ernest Hemingway in the book, based on quotes from Andy Rooney, reflected my own thoughts about Hemingway, who I once thought was a better person than he actually was. Still, some of his books are classics.
