Mid-life is a wake-up call. It is a time to evaluate where you stand in your life, a time when you can become the person you have always wanted to be. Now in one of the first books to address the spiritual, emotional, and psychological dimensons of this transition, acclaimed family therapist Stephanie Marston acts as your "midwife"for what can be an extraordinary and transformative rite of passage. Includes real-life stories of women who have dared to embrace challenge and reexamine their lives, careers, and relationships.

This book is about the many emotions women go through at midlife (middle age). It discusses menopause and hormones as well as self reflection and getting back in touch with your original self. There were a lot of things in here that I recognized as going through myself right now.
