A well-written, well-worn plot device.

Waking up in bed with virile Sam Lawford was hardly Elise Holmans typically angelic behavior. Lately she'd been fighting an attraction to her workaholic and oh so sexy boss, yet never for a moment did she think those amorous fantasies could possibly run away with her resistance.
And what about sam's "honorable" intentions? He abruptly proposed then stipulated that, to him, matrimony meant little more than "marital relations," Though Elise feared treading into such a cold bargain, she prayed warm affection would soften sams heart. But was she simply a fool rushing into a marriage with a man who refused to love?

Elise Hollman was infatuated with Max, until Max meets and falls for her twin sister. After the wedding, she and Sam, Max's partner, are left together at the hotel. Sam finds that Elise has had more than she should have had of the champagne, and stays with her through the night. Cute story.

First book I've read for this author and it was a good read.
I definately enjoyed the dialog betweeen the two main characters.
References alot to the first book in series which I hadn't read so that was a bit frustrating and she also spent a bit to much time with them both in the office.
It started out so cute it draws you in.
there were a few missed opportunities in the book for some great story lines but it still worked.
Ending -- should have been more drawn out -- there was alot of opportunity for some great drama at the airport but it still worked - any woman would have been in tears more than she was so she was a bit too dry eyed for me...
And last - where did the title come from ??? it's a good title but doesn't seem to fit the book
You'll enjoy and it won't be a waste of time - I'll definately put the book 1 on my to read list
Enjoy
