I'm in a place I use to go a long, long time ago.
I felt the need to be here, the reason I don't know.
The place has changed a little, but really not that much.
I feel at total peace here, I can feel natures touch.
There aren't that many places left, that man has left alone.
Someone took my special place and blocked it by a gate.
I know I shouldn't trespass, but I really couldn't wait.
I had to see if it still existed, as I remembered it so long ago.
I don't know why I felt the need to come here, but I just had to know.
As I entered the small clearing, hidden by the trees.
I found it as I left it, like time had let it freeze.
The old rundown shack, still stands as it did before.
Complete with out any windows, there isn't even a door.
The grass is still as green, as it use to be.
The silence is still as soothing, as it always was to me.
There's just something about this place, that makes me feel at peace.
The sheer tranquility of it, allows me such release.
From all the cares and worries, I live with day to day.
While I sit here in the silence, they all just fade away.
But I can't sit here forever, my time is almost done.
At least I had today to enjoy the silence, but now I have to run.......

Please let me know what you think of my writings. I am looking for honest feedback.
Thank You
Tina
