England, 1885. Story of Simon Kent, inventor, and Lady Camelia Marshall, archaeologist. Simon was one of the children adopted by Haydon and Genevieve in "The Wedding Escape." The other grown-up adopted "Kent" children are featured in "My Favorite Thief" and "The Prisoner." Excellent story.

Lady Camelia Marshall wants inventor Simon Kent to help her prove her father's archeological theory. While he agrees to help her, he also falls in love with her, but conspiracies abound.
