I'm not that familiar with English authors but I really like Erica James, Katie Fford, and Marcia Willett.  I like Mary Sheepshanks and some of Sarah Woodhouse.   I've also read all of Rosamund Pilcher and DE Stevenson.

I'd appreciate any recommendations that you could make.

Thanks, Rochelle

A couple of my favorites are Marian Keyes and Robyn Sissman. I also like Carole Mathews and Gemma Townley.  One of my absolute favorite books is Notting Hell - I can't remember the name of the author right off hand.  Rachel somebody. The book was awesome. Lots of British slang though - not  "converted" into Americanisms like much of the British chick lit today.

Hi,

Have you read Cathy Kelly, Jane Green,  Marian Keyes, Collette Caddle, Erica James, Monica McInerney., Rosie Thomas,

Cecilia Ahearn, (PS I Love You was great)   Patricia Scanlan, Madeleine Wickham,  Sheila O'Flanagan, Judith Lennox,

Melissa Hill, Imogen Parker

If you like Rosamunde Pilcher, try Susan Sallis also...

I'm sure I'll think of more! I'll post later. I love British/irish/Scottish/Australian writers.

Enjoy!

Sherry

ETA-ooops, I didn't see you already posted Erica James
