So far, I am about 75% through this book. This book is pretty good for 2 reasons, I like the characters and I cannot wait to uncover the mystery. It is an easy read but not very action packed but still a good story. No major twists or uncovered secrets but again the characters are likeable and believable. Up to this point, the Kastners still remain a mystery but you can tell they are hiding a lot of secrets. I will continue reading and hope the final uncovering of the mystery is well worth the wait.

I am done reading the book. The final mystery was summed up in the last few pages. This book was an okay read for me. I feel like I was left hanging on one issue but the author could have done this on purpose to use in the next book.

Jane Lawless has worked hard to make her Minneapolis restaurant a success. Yet even the good doesn't bring the same rewards it once did. Jane needs a bigger challenge, a mystery to solve, the thrill of the chase. When she rentes her top apartment to a new tenant who is a children's book author, she unwittingly opens the door to a sinister, decades old mystery that has been waiting patiently to unfold -- in her own house.Little does Jane know that a strange man upstairs, an attractive neighbor, and a volatile love affair are just the beginning of her problems.

Good reading! But then Ellen Hart's books always are.
