While this book has some potential to be a series, I wouldn't spend the normal $10 on this manga. The art is okay, but the story line is lacking, and over all, eveything in this book is pretty predictable. In other words, if you have only a few credits left, save them, this really isn't worth it.

Rika, a faerie who used to be human, likes life in solitude away from the faerie world. She finds herself attracted to a human named Jayce. But as Jayce gets pulled into Rika's life, the faerie world comes knocking.
This is the manga version of Wicked Lovely. I wasn't thrilled with this version. I felt like I was dropped in the middle of the story, and sometimes the art work confused me. I wasn't clear who was who and what sex they were. I had to reread the first couple of pages a couple of times. I don't know if I missed pieces of the story since I did not read original novel, but I don't think I will read the second in the manga series. I may try reading the book the original series comes from.

This book deals with one of the past Winter Queens and what her life is like now as she pines over a human. This does feel like suddenly we are being dropped into a story line midway and it does move rather quickly. And yes it is confusing as others have stated because fairies just pop up here and there throughout the book and it's like who what where when how!?!? I wish they would make these books longer so it doesn't feel like you're getting a five minute story.
