An interesting book with true stories of the Old West. The chapter on "Firewater" includes numerous recipes for favorite drinks. That item was so essential to the Old West that there is another chapter on "Boozers and Boozing." The chapter on "The Long Arm of the Law" explains how income was collected for the town's budget. Includes numerous photographs, especially in the chapter on "The Red-Light Ladies." :-)
