Very enjoyable book from a new author and a promising start to a new series. I enjoyed this as much as any of Beverly Lewis's books and can't wait for the next book in the series.

I had read the book cover for this book a long while back, but had decided to not buy it that day (too many other books in my basket!), but the book sayed in my mind....to the point that I had to get it! I am so glad that I was finally able to read it. I don't know a lot about Amish living, but really enjoyed the book...to the point that I NOW have to find book 2!!

Hannah Brown's husband dies leaving her childless, which is unthinkable to the Amish. She moves from Pennsylvania to Ohio to live with her sister and 4 children, but her brother-in- law is a pain and mean even though he is a deacon in the Amish church. He dislikes Hannah and he sees his young, handsome widowed brother likes Hannah and he gets even more angry.I feel sorry for Hannah.
