What kind of woman runs into an ex-flame at a college reunion, falls madly in love with him again after one night of fun, then returns home to find a 'replacement wife' for her husband who, while dull and predictable, is still a very decent guy? Ironically, her name is Prudence. This is a wild ride, and a fun, fast-paced read.

I found this book to be funny in spots, but I just couldn't warm up to the heroine... although I think this was the point.

This is a great chic lit book! It is so funny that I found myself laughing outloud throughout the book. I really enjoyed the characters, and was excited to see what would happen next. It was "R" rated, with drug use, strong language, and infidelity through out the book, so this book isn't for everyone.

Pretty good book. Very fast read for me. Like some other stated, at times it was not realistic, but overall, it made you put things into perspective. I liked the book though.

I was a littel disappointed in this book as I got the impression from the book cover that it would be a lot more funny and mad cap but it is more serious with a few light moments and snarky comments that are funny.

I woman who is dissatisfied with her marriage has a fling with a college boyfriend. They decide to continue and get married but she doesn't want to hurt her husband so she decides to find him a replacement wife so that he won't mind. Interesting how people can distort the real facts to make themselves feel better or get off a hook. Things start going bad. Read it to see if she gets her way or learns a hard lesson.

This book started off kind of slow but once you realize what has taken place- it is a great book- and it keeps you excited to get to the end of the book.

This was a hard book to get going on. It did not grab my interest, really grab it at any time. I read it to get to the ending.

I went to my college reunion and hooked up with Matt, the love of my life, my soulmate, the one who got away. He said I love you, let's get married - I said Yes!. Maybe that would have been great except I forgot to tell him about Reilly - my husband.

Well, our marriage had been over for a while and I decided to place an ad "Wife Wanted." Everybody gets a happy ending... of life becomes a dizzying train wreck of continual castastrophe. With a little help from my friends and a bit of luck, I may find the next wife of Reilly.
